How to stop applications from opening at startup on a Mac...

1) Open the Apple Menu
2) Click on System Preferences
3) Click on Users & Groups.
4) Click on the Login Items tab.
5) Click on the Lock, enter admin password to unlock.
6) Click on the + sign towards the bottom.
7) Add the programs that you want to prevent from opening (Note: some of the programs may not show up as being added until you click and re-lock access to make changes).
8) Select the checkbox for the applications that you wish to prevent from opening on startup.
9) You are DONE!
